The British School in Tokyo

Established in 1989, The British School in Tokyo (BST) is the biggest British international school in Japan, providing a broad and balanced curriculum for international students aged 3 to 18.

Throughout the school’s history, families have been attracted to BST by its outstanding reputation for academic excellence, strong support for students, high-quality teaching and learning and, of course, its central city location.

The school is operated in two campuses. Primary School (3 to 11 years old) is at Azabudai Hills Campus, at the newly opened Azabudai Hills, just a step away from Tokyo Tower. Secondary School (12-18 years old) is located inside the Showa Women’s University at Sangenjaya, only two train stops from Shibuya.

There are over 1,100 students across the whole school, with 60+ nationalities.

The maximum number of students per class is 22
